Scholarships in Economics

The following scholarships are available for students majoring in Economics (BA, BSBA, or MA, see below for detailed options):

Shigenori Komuro International Scholarship $600
Undergraduate economics majors demonstrating strong interest
and scholastic performance in international trade or finance
 
   
Shigenori Komuro Graduate Scholarship $600
Graduate economics majors with high scholastic performance  
   
Meritorious Achievement Award $500
Economics majors with high scholastic performance  
   
Ted Berkovitz Fund for Urban Economic Development $300
Students interested in urban economic development  
   
Norby Book Award $200
Economics majors with 5 upper division courses completed  

Note: Awards are estimates only; values can vary from year to year.

Applications will be available in the Scholarship Office. The department encourages all students with at least a 3.0 GPA to apply for merit scholarships. You must enroll in the academic year in which you receive your scholarship award.

Students in the following degree programs qualify:
BA in Economics
BSBA Option in Business Economics
MA in Economics
