General Procedure
Receipt of manuscripts is acknowledged promptly. All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously, and a decision about acceptance generally is sent within two to three months. Unless submitted for a theme issue, manuscripts are not necessarily reviewed for a specific issue; however, those that are accepted for publication will be published at the earliest possible time. The following are the general deadlines for consideration of manuscripts:
